Ken played sam jones - first on "The Andy Griffith Show" and also on the spin-off, ''mayberry''- but might be most beloved for playing capt. parmenter on the western sitcom "f Troop" from 1965 to 1967.

His Film Career :-

The performance led to an offer from Twentieth Century Fox and a screen test at universal studios. he signed with an agent as soon as he arrived in hollywood.Berry accepted universal's offer and began as a contract player. His parents were supportive, and his dad even booked ken into variety type shows. At 16 ken got to join the horace heidtyouth opportunity program. Ken toured towns all across the nation, and through the air force the troupe entertained in Germany, Ireland, England, U K and several other countries.
